Kabali (2016)

Kabali is a 2016 Indian Tamil gangster-drama film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film stars Rajinikanth as the title character, whilst Taiwanese actor Winston Chao, Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan, and John Vijay star in other pivotal roles. Principal photography for the film began on 21 August 2015 in Chennai. While filming mostly occurred in Malaysia, smaller scenes were shot in Bangkok and Hong Kong. The film was released on 22 July 2016. Kabali released in 3200 screens in India, which included 2200 screens in South India. It shattered all the record for an Indian film worldwide. The film has received mixed reviews, from audiences and critics alike.

Sarrainodu (2016)

Sarainodu (English: The Right Man) is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language action-masala film written and directed by Boyapati Srinu. Produced by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner, it features Allu Arjun, Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles while Srikanth appears in a supporting role. S. Thaman composed the film's score and soundtrack. Rishi Punjabi is the cinematographer.

The film had a worldwide release on 22 April 2016. The film's Malayalam dubbed version, titled Yodhaavu, is slated for release on 13 May 2016. Upon release the film met with mixed to positive reviews praising the performances of Allu Arjun and Aadhi.This movie became blockbuster at box office.
